The first quarter of 2024 saw some interesting trends in the performance of the top 5 cryptocurrency apps in Hungary. Data from Sensor Tower reveals the weekly downloads, active users, and revenue for these apps.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto had a notable performance in terms of downloads and active users. Weekly downloads fluctuated, starting at approximately 2.2K in early January and peaking at around 3.8K in late February and early March. Active users showed a steady increase, rising from about 23.3K in the first week of January to nearly 33.1K by mid-March.

Tap - Mobile Finance experienced a significant decline in downloads over the quarter. From a high of 3.1K in early January, downloads dropped to just 247 by the end of March. No active user data was available for this app.

Nexo: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto showed a consistent trend in both downloads and active users. Weekly downloads ranged from around 881 to 1.5K, with a notable dip to 393 in the last week of March. Active users increased from about 2.6K at the start of January to a peak of 3.9K in late February, before settling at 3.2K by the end of March.

Crypto.com - Buy Bitcoin, ETH also had an interesting quarter. Downloads were relatively stable, starting at 957 and ending at 1.2K. Active users saw a significant rise, from 7.5K in the first week of January to a peak of 11.5K in early March, before dropping slightly to 8.3K by the end of the quarter.

Finally, Bybit: Buy & Trade Crypto maintained a steady performance. Weekly downloads remained consistent, ranging from 698 to 873. Active users showed a gradual increase, from 2.7K at the start of January to 3.3K by mid-March.
